The Department of School Education, Punjab has awarded the MIS 2.0 contract to design, develop, deploy, and maintain a next-gen Education Management Information System with an onsite Technical Support Unit to HMN.

The scope explicitly bakes in AI/ML-enabled insights, a web-based chatbot, and enhanced AI capabilities tied to ticketing and dashboards—moving from static reporting to predictive, assistive governance. Modules span student/academic workflows, examinations, infrastructure, staff transfer/posting, mobile apps, and integrations.

The platform is expected to serve 30k+ schools, 60 lakh students along with their Parents, and 2.5 lakh teachers, aiming for faster decisions and measurable learning outcomes.
